UK PM Johnson: We will leave EU on October 31 if Brexit deal is voted down

In an interview with BBC on Friday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that they will leave the European Union if the parliament were to vote down his proposed deal on Saturday. 

"We want the highest standards and highest protections in this country," Johnson added.

In the meantime, Financial Times reporter Sebastian Payne in the last hour tweeted out that according to their latest numbers, Boris Johnson will have a majority of two on Saturday with opposition Labour Party lawmaker Melanie Onn declaring her intention to vote for the Brexit deal.

As of writing, the GBP/USD pair was up 0.4% on a daily basis at 1.2940.
