Wall Street rallies on the first day of the second quarter

FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US stocks started the second quarter with strong note as investors traded on rebalancing mode and risk appetite amid Janet Yellen yesterday's speech. Wall Street advanced for third day with the S&P 500 reaching a fresh all-time high.

The Dow Jones advanced 74.95 points or 0.46% to finish the day at 16,532.61; the S&P 500 added 13.18 pts or 0.70% to close at 1,885.52; while the Nasdaq Composite rallied 69.05 pts or 1.64% to 4,268.04.
