Wall Street at new closing all time highs

U.S. stocks were a small gain overnight on Monday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 Index to were back to make all time closing highs highs while the Nasdaq Composite Index to its highest finish of 2016.

The S&P 500 closed up 5.15 points, at 2,166.89 with the tech industry leading the way along with materials and financials. This was another record closing high and it has closed five out of the last six sessions making them. 

Meanwhile, energy shares were not performing as well due to crude dropping yet again down to $45.17 spot WTI. 

The Dow industrials closed at a new high for the fifth day in a row as well within a 66-point range and the the Nasdaq Composite Index rose 26.19 points, to close at 5,055.78, trading within a 33-point range.
