Switzerland: Annual CPI falls 0.1% in September, as expected

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to data released today by the Swiss Federal Statistical Office, Swiss annual inflation dropped 0.1% in September,after remaining flat the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts.

On a monthly basis Swiss CPI rose 0.3% in September, following a 0.1% slide in August, as expected.

Switzerland: Annual Real Retail Sales rise 2.4% in August

The Swiss Federal Statistical Office informed on Tuesday that year-over-year Swiss Real Retail Sales grew 2.4% in August, up from the the 0.6% increase in July and well above forecasts of +0.7%.
