AUD/USD rises above 100-hour SMA
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The Australian dollar received a boost and pushed higher against the greenback, turning intraday positive and reaching fresh daily highs during the American afternoon.
AUD/USD climbed over 70 pips within the last hour and, having surpassed the 100-hour SMA, it recently hit a daily high of 0.9776. The pair has pulled back slightly from highs and it is currently trading around 0.9755, where it is still up 0.6% on the day.
As for technical levels, immediate resistances for AUD/USD could be faced at 0.9776 (daily high) and 0.9800 (psychological level), while supports could be found at 0.9680 and 0.9620 (intraday supports) ahead of 0.9590 (daily low).
